I’m more than a digital creative, I like to work with my hands too! Here’s a glimpse into the creative endeavors I take on outside of work.

I created the mural above with an awesome team of volunteers. This work focuses on the bicultural nature of the San Diego/Tijuana region. If you’re ever in San Diego, it’s on SDSU’s campus so check it out!

Illustration

Sakura Pigma Micron pens are rolling around in my purse 24/7. I love to do graphic sketches and sometimes people want to use them, like this illustration I made for Teach for America.

Painting

Acrylic paint pens AND traditional acrylic paint? Chef’s kiss. I enjoy painting skateboards for fundraisers. I donate the deck and the organization (I’ve done this for various orgs at this point) keeps the proceeds.

Calligraphy

Handwritten letters are the key to my heart and fortunately, other people like them too! Sometimes I volunteer my time to write letters to senior citizens through Letters Against Isolation.
